रक्षिता जीवलोकस्य स्वजनस्य च रक्षिता । रक्षिता स्वस्य वृत्तस्य धर्मस्य च परंतपः ॥
Roman Transliteration (IAST)
rakṣitā jīvalokasya svajanasya ca rakṣitā | rakṣitā svasya vṛttasya dharmasya ca paraṃtapaḥ ||
English Scholarly Translation
In effulgence he is like the Sun, in patience like the earth, in intellect like BỊhaspati (The god of wisdom) and in fame like Vāsava. (The lord of celestials) He is the protector of the world of creation and his own kinsmen. He follows right in all his ways and never swerves from his royal duties and is the slayer of foes.
