लघुसत्त्वतया सर्वे नष्टसंज्ञा भयार्दिताः । नात्र योद्धुं समर्थाः स्म इत्युक्त्वा विप्रदुद्रुवुः ॥
Roman Transliteration (IAST)
laghusattvatayā sarve naṣṭasaṃjñā bhayārditāḥ | nātra yoddhuṃ samarthāḥ sma ityuktvā vipradudruvuḥ ||
English Scholarly Translation
In vonsequence of their being comparatively inferior in point of strength they were deprived of their senses, and afficted with fear; and saying, 'Here we are not equal to fighting' they went their way.
