An authority on Nāṭyaśāstra, Gandharva music, ancient Indian dance traditions (nṛtta and karaṇa reconstruction), and the philosophical treatises of Ācārya Abhinavagupta, his research synthesizes traditional śāstric philology with embodied artistic practice.
