Abstract
<jats:p>The integration of privacy management into the Big Data lifecycle is crucial in ensuring the protection of sensitive data while maximizing its utility. With the increasing reliance on Big Data in various sectors, ranging from healthcare to finance, the challenge of maintaining privacy throughout the data lifecycle has grown significantly. This article explores the fundamental aspects of privacy management, challenges faced during data collection, storage, processing, and analysis, and proposes various approaches to integrate privacy mechanisms into the Big Data lifecycle. A discussion on existing privacy frameworks, regulatory compliance, and emerging technologies such as blockchain and differential privacy is presented. This paper also examines practical case studies, offering insights into best practices and potential future directions for privacy in Big Data systems.</jats:p>
