Abstract

This article examines the main idea, structural features, compositional solutions, and the interrelation of authorial style in the short stories of Duman Ramazan. The study identifies the role of plot poetics within the writer’s artistic system and provides a comprehensive analysis of the function of plot in revealing characters’ psychology. It is demonstrated that the author’s prose prioritizes internal psychological movement, inner conflicts, and spiritual experiences of the characters rather than external events. Based on the works Allah’s Command, The Last Breath, and Kokzhal, the research analyzes the logic of plot development, the system of conflict, and the functions of symbolic and mythological layers. Particular attention is given to psychological parallelism and artistic details as key elements in meaning-making. The study also highlights the nature of final resolutions, which are often open-ended or implicit, encouraging active reader interpretation. The findings suggest that a distinctive feature of Duman Ramazan’s prose lies in the synthesis of traditional narrative techniques with modern artistic approaches. This combination enables the author to vividly portray the national worldview and the complex psychology of human beings, resulting in works with significant aesthetic and philosophical depth.
