Abstract
<jats:p>This article analyzes the cognitive adaptation mechanisms involved in translating children's literary texts based on the IMRAD model. The study examines translation strategies from the perspectives of the child’s world model, linguocultural characteristics, and developmental psychology. Particular attention is given to maintaining comprehensibility, emotional impact, and cultural relevance for young readers. The findings demonstrate that semantic simplification, metaphorical transformation, and cultural adaptation are essential for ensuring the adequate reception of children's texts while preserving their educational and aesthetic value.</jats:p>
