Abstract
<jats:p>This article examines the causes of academic stress among students, its impact on learning activities, emotional state and personal development, as well as psychological mechanisms for reducing it. Academic stress is associated with high academic workload, preparation for examinations, poor time management, fear of failure, lack of self-confidence and difficulties in socio-psychological adaptation. The article highlights the importance of emotional stability, self-regulation, positive motivation, psychological adaptation, time management, relaxation techniques and psychological support in overcoming stress conditions. Preventive and corrective approaches aimed at reducing academic stress among students are also scientifically substantiated.</jats:p>
