Abstract
This article presents the first systematic study of the socio-political lexical system functioning as a distinct microsystem within the lexical macrosystem of the Uzbek language. The research reveals the systemic characteristics of this microsystem and examines its development and transformation during the period of independence. Using componential analysis, the study identifies the integral and differential semantic features of the lexemes belonging to the lexical-semantic group characterized by the archisememe “gathering/meeting” within the socio-political paradigm. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the semantic structure of these lexical units, their interrelationships, and their role in socio-political communication.
