Abstract

<jats:p>This article identifies priority directions for the development of the higher education process based on the use of digital technologies in the education system of the Republic of Uzbekistan and analyzes their potential. It also presents recommendations for introducing digital technologies into education through the study, systematization, and generalization of existing practices, as well as through the development of effective implementation models. The article emphasizes the need to reorganize the educational process through the experimental activities of teachers and students. It highlights that students should acquire not only practical skills but also general educational competencies by mastering the methods of scientific inquiry. The technology of collaborative research between teachers and students implements a problem-based and inquiry-oriented approach to learning and ensures the acquisition of scientific knowledge through the sequence “fact – model – result – experimental evidence.”</jats:p>
