Abstract
The textbook is designed for students who have already mastered the basics of the Hebrew language, including familiarity with verb conjugation patterns and verb forms, and who study He- brew at the undergraduate academic level in their second and third years of study. Written in ac- cordance with the new generation of educational standards, this book is the first Russian-language textbook to offer such comprehensive coverage of advanced Hebrew grammatical topics. The text- book features a host of varied exercises. The presentation and structuring of the grammatical ma- terial, as well as the accompanying exercise system, are largely innovative and facilitate the learn- ing process as much as possible for both students and instructors. Part Two is dedicated to a detailed study of the verb stems לﬠִפּ (Pi’el) and לַﬠפּ (Pu’al). As students work through the grammatical material, they review the previously learned vocabulary, as well as acquire new words.
