Modern Russian Prose

<jats:p>The textbook analyzes well-known works of Russian literature written in the first quarter of the twenty-first century that reflect various directions and trends in the contemporary cultural process. The first section of the book contains a brief overview of the theory of postmodernism as well as metamodernism, a movement that is currently in the process of formation. The second section provides general information about contemporary writers who have attracted critical attention and are involved in the literary prize circuit, accompanied by a critical analysis of the works by the authors presented in the book. Intended for students studying the course “History of Contemporary Russian Literature”.</jats:p>
