Abstract
The practical manual Analytical Chemistry II is intended for pharmacy students as supporting educational material for laboratory exercises within the course of the same name. The manual covers classical methods of chemical analysis, with particular emphasis on gravimetric and volumetric determination methods. It includes the basic principles of Analytical Chemistry, the theoretical background of gravimetry and volumetry, as well as a detailed description of individual methods commonly applied in laboratory practice. Special attention is devoted to laboratory safety regulations, proper handling of chemicals and laboratory equipment, and general instructions necessary for the successful performance of experiments. The manual provides students with guidelines for proper sample preparation, execution of analytical procedures, recording of laboratory observations, and processing of the obtained results. The theoretical section of the manual is complemented by practical instructions for laboratory exercises. For each method, a detailed description of the procedure, required equipment and reagents, as well as methods for calculation and interpretation of results are provided. In this way, students are enabled to gain a better understanding of the principles of classical analytical methods and their application in pharmaceutical analysis. The aim of the manual is to provide students with practical knowledge and skills in the field of classical chemical analysis, to develop precision and an analytical approach in laboratory work, and to connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications in the pharmaceutical profession.
