Abstract
The development of new composite materials requires a lot of experimentation. This article discusses the use of the experimental design method to find the best composition of thermolythic concrete. Thermolythic concrete, being a multi-component building material, has properties that depend on a wide range of factors of varying nature and degree of influence on the characteristics of the composite. The use of orthogonal experimental design is ineffective when there is a significant spread in factor values. In order to determine the optimal composition of the composite material, the Scheffe simplex-lattice design was used in this work. Based on the specified plan, a full third-order model was developed and the compositions of thermolythic concrete were determined to create samples, which will then be subjected to experimental studies to determine their properties. The proposed approach to planning can contribute to the optimization of the structure of complex multi-component systems.
