Abstract
<jats:p>The article analyzes the pedagogical and physiological foundations of physical training in shooting sports from a scientific point of view, and defines the role of this process in the formation of physical, functional and psychological stability of young shooters. The study systematizes the structure, purpose, principles of physical training and mechanisms of their scientific application. The article analyzes the adaptation processes to physical exertion at the energy-metabolic, neuro-regulatory and structural levels, substantiates the facts of changes occurring in the morphofunctional systems of the body – cardiovascular, respiratory and rationalization of nervous systems. All this is brought to the fore and involved in the theoretical analysis.
