Abstract

<p>Poet and historian G. C. Waldrep explores his movement from time in Larry’s graduate seminar, through time spent researching working class organizing in three communities in the South, through his own experiences in building intentional communities. He becomes a historian, then a poet, and explores how themes of violence, witness, and imagination are connected to his long-term relationship with Goodwyn’s teachings.</p>
