Abstract
<jats:p>This article is devoted to the development of methodology and applied aspects for analyzing the geography of international conflicts using a system of geopolitical indicators. The relevance of the study is обусловлена by the growing number of regional and interregional conflicts, as well as by the increasing complexity of their spatial structure and the factors influencing escalation processes. The paper proposes a comprehensive approach to the typologization of international geopolitical conflicts based on a three-factor analytical matrix that includes chorological (spatio-temporal), causal, and political–managerial components. A key element of the proposed methodology is the identification of cause-and-effect relationships underlying conflict formation, taking into account the specifics of geographical location, political infrastructure, as well as economic and ethno-cultural prerequisites. The authors develop a concept for applying a system of geopolitical indicators as a tool for early warning and proactive response to potential hot spots of tension. The research methodology is based on the synthesis of contemporary scientific approaches to conflict analysis and the integration of spatial modeling methods with geopolitical diagnostics. The practical significance of the study lies in the applicability of the proposed system for assessing the potential conflict of specific territories, forecasting conflict dynamics, and developing effective political and managerial decisions. The established relationship between political processes and the geographical context confirms the necessity of a comprehensive analysis of the geospatial nature of international conflicts. The research findings can be used in foreign policy planning, international security monitoring, as well as in educational and research-analytical activities.</jats:p>
