Abstract
A technique for studying the stress-strain state of intersecting shells of rotation is considered. The classification of typical joints of intersecting shells of various geometric shapes is carried out, which facilitates research from a unified methodological perspective, systematization of the main geometric parameters of the joints that affect the stress state of the shells, and a systematic approach to the analysis of locally reinforced or composite intersecting shells. Based on the described problem-oriented methodology for the study of intersecting shells, a specialized computing program SAIS has been developed.
