Abstract
<jats:p>In the modern era, the parallel rise of tourism and logistics sectors within Azerbaijan's non-oil sector development strategy is of particular relevance. This article comprehensively examines the strategic role of international transport corridors and large-scale infrastructure projects in the sustainable development of Azerbaijan's tourism sector. During the research, the multiplicative impact of infrastructure investments on tourism revenues was studied comparatively based on the analysis of statistical indicators and strategic documents. The study analyzes the impact of the country's integration into transnational transport routes, such as the "North-South" and "East-West" (Middle Corridor) corridors, driven by its geostrategic position in the Eurasian space, on tourism flows. Specifically, the role of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, the Alat International Sea Trade Port, and the newly constructed international airports in the liberated territories in diversifying tourism routes is evaluated. Additionally, the contributions of the opening perspectives of the Zangezur corridor to the integration of regional tourism routes and the formation of a unified tourism space have been included in the research object. The article substantiates that the formation of modern transport infrastructure ensures the accessibility of tourism services by increasing not only freight transport but also passenger mobility. Consequently, it is demonstrated that international transport projects shape Azerbaijan not merely as a transit country but as a global tourism hub, and the synergy of these two sectors is of strategic importance for sustainable economic growth.
