Abstract
<jats:p>Статья посвящена исследованию особенностей перевода дипломатического дискурса. Характеризуются дипломатический дискурс и его лингвистические особенности, а также определяются трудности при его переводе. Проводится сравнение перевода выступления С. В. Лаврова на 77-й сессии Генеральной Ассамблеи ООН с текстом оригинала. Выявлены и проанализированы способы достижения эквивалентности при переводе дипломатического дискурса.</jats:p> <jats:p>The article is devoted to the study of the peculiarities of translation of diplomatic discourse. Diplomatic discourse and its linguistic features are characterized, as well as difficulties in translating diplomatic discourse are identified. The work compares the translation of Sergey Lavrov's speech at the 77th session of the UN General Assembly with the original text. The ways of achieving equivalence in the translation of diplomatic discourse are determined and analyzed.</jats:p>
