Abstract
The article explores the phenomenon of architecture as an active curator in shaping a new museum narrative, using the example of the new Foundation Cartier building in Paris (opened in October 2025), designed by Jean Nouvel. The analysis is based on original and unique material gathered by the author during her personal attendance at the key events of 2025: the opening of the Fondation Cartier pour l'art contemporain par Jean Nouvel exhibition in Venice and a series of public discussions held as part of the exhibition during the Architecture Biennale in May, as well as the opening of the new Fondation Cartier building.
