Guidelines zur Annotation von deliberaten Metaphern

<jats:p>This article presents the annotation guidelines for subproject B01 of the CRC 1475 “Metaphors of Religion.” The guidelines are characterized by the following features: (i) They concern the annotation of deliberate metaphors, i.e., conventionalized metaphors are (mostly) ignored. (ii) We annotate exhaustively, i.e., we annotate all metaphorical expressions in complete texts. (iii) We also annotate an anchor, i.e., an expression from the target domain. In addition to the actual guidelines and appendices with numerous annotated examples, the document also contains chapters explaining the central concepts and the linguisticmodeling of metaphors.</jats:p>
