Abstract
Outdoor learning and indigenous education are highly interconnected concepts. Since indigenous education involves the transmission of indigenous knowledge, it is naturally place-based and cannot be effectively carried out solely within a classroom setting. By observing and engaging with the environments in which indigenous culture has been formed, students can better concretize indigenous knowledge and experience a more meaningful learning process. In this regard, the present study aims to offer educators ideas for implementing outdoor learning activities and to provide a resource to support them in designing educational practices. To achieve this goal, an AI-supported tool named IndigenTerra has been developed to localize the proposed activity designs. This tool modifies the designed activities according to the location and the age group of the students. It is anticipated that IndigenTerra will represent an example of the integration of technology within outdoor learning and indigenous education.
