Abstract
In an era marked by uncertainty, technological trouble, and fast organizational change, traditional methods to production management are proving insufficient to ensure resilience performance. This chapter explores how agile and emotionally intelligent leadership can provide a human-centered response to these challenges, with a focus on Tunisian production contexts. Drawing on a comparative case study of two Tunisian textile companies operating under contrasting leadership styles, the chapter examines how the combination of agility characterized by adaptability, collaboration, and continuous improvement and emotional intelligence defined by empathy and real communication enhances managerial effectiveness. The analysis shows that the company adopting agile and emotionally intelligent leadership attained solider team engagement, better flexibility, and greater innovation, while the traditionally managed company experienced reduced responsiveness and lower motivation.
