Abstract

The increasing complexity of organizational environments has rendered traditional, intuition-based Human Resource Management (HRM) inadequate for addressing contemporary strategic challenges. In response, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and HR Analytics (HRA) have emerged as powerful tools for evidence-based, forward-looking workforce decision-making. This study examines how AI and HR Analytics are transforming Human Resource Management into a more strategic, intelligent, and performance-driven function. A qualitative, descriptive systematic literature review was conducted using data from the Scopus database. Bibliometric and thematic analyses were used to identify key research trends, dominant themes, and conceptual relationships in the field. The findings reveal that AI-enabled HR Analytics has evolved from basic workforce reporting to advanced predictive and prescriptive decision support. However, the study also highlights major challenges, including algorithmic bias, data privacy concerns, lack of transparency, and skill gaps among HR professionals.
