Abstract

The basic aim of welfare regimes is to combat all social problems that negatively affect human well-being. Every country that considers itself a welfare regime gives life to this aim with the social policies it will implement. Social policy consists of the regulations with a corporatist character that welfare regimes use to protect and increase human well-being. Although welfare regimes implement comprehensive social policies against all social problems, active and passive policies put forward for employment come to the fore due to their direct impact on welfare. Welfare regimes apply a wide range of social policies to increase employment rates, which are among the basic welfare indicators, to achieve full employment, and in cases where there are conditions or obstacles that prevent work. The intensity and scope of these policies vary according to the welfare regime typology
