Abstract
The readiness of teachers is crucial for the effective implementation of distance education. Determining their readiness for distance education and developing suitable educational policies is essential. This study aims to determine secondary school teachers' readiness levels for distance education. Using the survey model, a quantitative research approach, data were collected from 323 teachers in Eskişehir province via Google Forms. The ‘A-12 Teachers' Online Education Readiness Scale' (Polat, Yahşi, & Hopcan, 2022) was utilized, and its Cronbach's alpha value was calculated as .951, indicating high reliability. Findings revealed that teachers generally had positive attitudes towards online teaching readiness. While gender, age, and professional seniority did not significantly affect readiness levels, prior educational experience in online environments played a significant role.
