Abstract
<jats:p>Cumhuriyet Dönemi Türk edebiyatı şair ve yazarlarından sanat hayatı boyunca Bedri Rahmi hatırı sayılır bir şiir külliyatı bırakmıştır. 1940’lı yıllardan başlayarak ölümüne değin şiir başta olmak üzere kültür, sanat ve edebiyat konularında pek çok deneme ve eleştiri yazısı yayımlamıştır. Bedri Rahmi’nin eserlerinde Anadolu halk kültürünün etkileri belirgin bir şekilde yer almaktadır. Tabiat, insan, sanat, sosyal problemler vs. pek çok konuya şiirinde yer vermiştir. Sanat eserinde estetik değer ve işlevselliğin bir arada bulunması gerektiğini vurgulayan şair, “faydalı ve güzel” sözcükleriyle şiir ve sanat poetikasını ifade etmiştir. Bedri Rahmi, resim ve renklerin dilini şiire yansıtmış, sahip olduğu görsel perspektifi şiir sanatının imkanlarına sunmuştur. Sanat hayatında insana ve insanı çevreleyen evrene dair her şeyi konu edinmiş olan Bedri Rahmi’nin şiirlerinde dikkat çeken konulardan biri anlattığı şehirlerdir. Bedri Rahmi’de şehirler iki yönleriyle ele alınır. “Kaotik büyük şehirler ve yaşanası şehirler”. Hayatında gördüğü, yaşadığı, bulunduğu üzerinde iz kalan şehirleri türlü yönleriyle anlatmıştır. Şiirine konu edindiği yerler başta Trabzon, İstanbul gibi doğduğu yaşadığı şehirler başta olmak üzere bir dönem resim yapmak için bulunduğu Anadolu şehirleri, resim eğitimi için gittiği ve bazen sadece kısa duraklarla kaldığı Paris ve Avrupa şehirleridir. Ancak Bedri Rahmi, en başta hayranı olduğu Anadolu’nun şairidir ve en fazla Anadolu şehirlerini konu edinmiştir. Bu makalede Bedri Rahmi Eyüpoğlu’nun şiirlerinde şehir olgusu ve şiirine konu edindiği şehirler ele alınacaktır. Bedri Rahmi, one of the poets and writers of the Turkish literature of the Republican Period, left behind a considerable body of poetry in the his art life. Starting from the 1940s until his death, he published many essays and critiques on the subjects of culture, art and literature, especially poetry. The influences of Anatolian folk culture are clearly present in Bedri Rahmi's works. He included many subjects such as nature, people, art, social problems, etc. in his poetry. The poet, who emphasized that aesthetic value and functionality should coexist in a work of art, expressed the poetics of poetry and art with the words "useful and beautiful". Bedri Rahmi reflected the language of painting and colors into poetry and offered his visual perspective to the possibilities of the art of poetry. One of the striking subjects in the poems of Bedri Rahmi, who has dealt with everything related to humans and the universe surrounding humans in his artistic life, is the cities he describes. In Bedri Rahmi, cities are discussed from two perspectives: “Chaotic big cities and livable cities. The places he chose as subjects for his poems were the cities he was born and lived in, such as Trabzon and Istanbul, as well as the Anatolian cities where he spent some time painting, and the cities of Paris and Europe where he went for art education and sometimes stayed only for short stops. However, Bedri Rahmi was primarily a poet of Anatolia, which he admired, and his main subject was Anatolian cities. In this article, the concept of the city in Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu's poems and the cities he uses as subjects in his poems will be discussed.</jats:p>
