Abstract
<jats:p>The article examines the issues of optimizing the management of transport processes in the format of the development of «green» logistics. The rationale for this development direction is based on the fact that one of the most demanded tasks in logistics is the transport task, and from the point of view of the «green» format, there is a growing need to solve «green transport tasks» not only with a result fo-cused on minimizing economic tasks for the cargo carrier, but also a result aimed at minimizing envi-ronmental costs. In addition, the study provides a justification for the additional benefits of develop-ing green logistics, the effective effect of which will be to address issues of employment, competitive-ness and transportation safety.</jats:p>
