Abstract

The earliest purpose of the study is to provide a comprehensive theoretical and practical substantiation of the essence and characteristics of creative employment as a specific segment of the contemporary labor market and a key component of Ukraine’s social and labor relations system, as well as to determine its role in the development of human capital, innovation potential, and the competitiveness of the national economy amid digitalization and military-economic transformations. Achieving this purpose involves examining the structural characteristics of creative employment, analyzing its sectoral distribution across the main creative industry sectors, assessing its development dynamics and contribution to the gross domestic product, and supporting population employment. The further purposes of the study are to clarify the impact of creative employment on the transformation of social and labor relations, in particular the spread of flexible forms of work organization, remote and project-based work, the development of freelancing and self-employment, the individualization of labor interactions between employees and employers, as well as the growing importance of intellectual and creative capital as a decisive resource for economic development. Special attention is paid to identifying the problems and institutional barriers to the functioning of creative employment, including the imperfection of legal regulation of labor relations and copyright protection, the limitation of motivational mechanisms, and the financial and resource support for the development of the creative sector. Thus, the aim of the article is to develop a comprehensive scientific understanding of creative employment as a factor in modernizing the system of social and labor relations and to substantiate directions for its further development in the context of postwar recovery and ensuring Ukraine’s socioeconomic resilience.
