Abstract

The article deals with the issues related to the level of implementation of the national transport and logistics infrastructure into the agricultural market infrastructure of the European Union. It is emphasized that Ukraine is critically important to Europe’s food security; accordingly, the open aggression against our state has intensified efforts to form a common agricultural market. Moreover, Ukrainian agricultural producers are also significant consumers of EU products. This interdependence forms the basis of a stable partnership. The full-scale invasion intensified joint efforts to integrate Ukraine’s agricultural infrastructure into the European transport and logistics infrastructure. The EU adapted its logistics corridors, in particular through the “Solidarity Lanes” initiative, to support Ukrainian exports redirected from seaports, and adjusted its infrastructure, including railway crossings, Danube ports, and Baltic routes. As of today, Ukrainian logistics, transport, and processing capacities are closely connected with European trade and economic flows. At the same time, certain infrastructure elements have been significantly damaged by hostilities, which is a key factor to be taken into account in post-war recovery. The key directions of Ukraine’s agricultural policy in the context of European integration should shape a systemic model of sustainable agricultural development focused on environmental sustainability, digitalization, social inclusion, and economic efficiency. Their implementation will ensure Ukraine’s gradual integration into the EU Common Agricultural Policy, strengthen Europe’s food security, and enhance Ukraine’s role as a strategic EU partner within the agricultural market infrastructure. To effectively increase the integration of the transport and logistics infrastructure of Ukraine's agricultural market with the EU, it is important to consider the dynamic nature of this process, which combines technical modernization, digital synchronization, financial cooperation, and institutional strengthening. It is precisely this approach that will enable quick recovery from the consequences of the full-scale invasion for the transport and logistics infrastructure of the Ukrainian agricultural market.
