Abstract
This article is devoted to a comprehensive religious studies analysis of the anthropological foundations of resilience within the Ukrainian spiritual tradition. Based on the study of the Hesychast heritage and religious-philosophical thought of the Baroque era, the essential connection between traditional ascetic methods of self-regulation and the latest strategies of psychological resilience is revealed. The role of prayerful concentration as an effective anthropological strategy that allows the individual to maintain the integrity of consciousness and autonomy of thought in conditions of intense sociocultural pressure is explored. Particular attention is paid to the ontological roots of the individual as the foundation of their mental resilience and a means of overcoming existential crises. It is argued that turning to the experience of contemplative concentration is a strategically important resource for preserving the national identity and subjectivity of modern man in the conditions of global challenges of the 21st century.
