Abstract

The article focuses on analyzing the specific features of the functioning of Ukrainian religious communities in the diaspora, using the cases of Poland. Within the Ukrainian diasporic milieu, national and religious identities are closely interconnected and mutually reinforcing. Religious communities serve as spaces in which national belonging acquires a sacred dimension, while religious practice is imbued with ethnocultural content. Through worship, ritual practices, language, and symbolism, the historical memory and collective experience of Ukrainians are reproduced and sustained. In the context of migration, it is precisely the interweaving of national and religious factors that ensures community consolidation, contributes to the preservation of cultural heritage, and supports the resilience of identity within a foreign cultural environment
