The role of mathematical disciplines in the development of analytical thinking, research skills and the ability to make informed decisions in the professional activities of physical education and sports specialists is substantiated. It is shown that a practice-oriented model of mathematical training facilitates the integration of pedagogical, scientific, and applied components of education. The chapter's materials can be used in the design of educational programs and the development of professional education theory.
