Abstract
The purpose of the study is to substantiate the structure of the conceptual opposition based on the dichotomy “CREATION – DESTRUCTION”, which is verbalized in V. Zhirinovsky’s personalistic discourse. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the author’s formulation of the concept “conceptual oppositivity”; in developing the concept of linguocognitive modeling of primary and secondary types of the personalistic discourse of the political figure V. Zhirinovsky; in substantiating the specifics of the intrasubjective complication of the basic opposition; and in describing the principle of forming the construct “dichotomous composite”. As the result, the study identified oppositions that serve as units of measurement for the conceptual oppositivity. The group affiliation of oppositions has been determined, allowing to compilate the typological classifications of the structures of the studied personalistic discourse. The criteria for the classification characteristics of the primary and secondary types of discourse have been established and described, taking into account the actualization of the process of conceptual oppositivity, which is combined with the dichotomy of “CREATION – DESTRUCTION”. The principle of forming the construct “dichotomous composite” based on the merging of two dichotomies, which is supported by the following scheme: [“CREATION” (“US” ↔ “THEM”) “DESTRUCTION”], has been described.
