Abstract
This article examines the conditions for the socialization of high school students through their involvement in the initiatives of the primary branch of the youth organization “Movement of the First”. The purpose of the study is to develop a model for the socialization of high school students in the context of interaction between the school and the primary branch of the youth organization. The author’s model is based on a mechanism of multi-level connections linking the Center for Children’s Initiatives, the school, and the external social environment. The model’s innovation lies in the development of a step-by-step algorithm that ensures the transition from one-time events to systematic student participation in volunteer, project, and mentoring activities. During the pilot study, positive dynamics in student personal development were recorded. An increase in the number of respondents with moderate to high levels of civic-patriotic attitudes, communication and organizational skills, and an increase in the level of social activity among high school students was noted. The study demonstrated that the proposed model facilitates the development of students’ subjective positioning and their conscious expression of personal initiative.
