Abstract
Abstract. The effect of foliar treatments with silver-containing and microbiological preparations on the survival rate, growth processes, and quality formation of grafted grapevine seedlings grown in a nursery was studied. The research was conducted in the nursery complex of OOO AF Yubileynaya (Temryuk District) on the Cabernet Sauvignon variety plants grafted onto the Kober 5BB rootstock. The experiment evaluated the preparations Plantarel, Polyplata Saikuron, and Metabacterin, as well as their combined application. Treatments were carried out five times during the period of active plant growth. It was established that the application of the studied preparations had a pronounced effect on the adaptive and growth processes of grafted plants. Foliar treatments with silver-containing preparations provided a significant increase in the survival rate of grafted cuttings by 13.0-17.4 % compared with the control. The microbiological preparation Metabacterin demonstrated the most pronounced growth-stimulating effect, increasing shoot length by up to 49.9 %. In all experimental treatments, an increase in the yield of standard seedlings by 5.5-34.8 % was observed. The highest yield of standard plants (75.6 %) was obtained with the application of Plantarel. The preparations Polyplata Saikuron and Metabacterin promoted shoot thickening, increased their total diameter, and enhanced root system development. A positive correlation between shoot diameter and the number of roots was established. It was shown that silver-containing preparations mainly increase the adaptive potential of plants, whereas microbiological preparations activate growth processes. The obtained results indicate the feasibility of using foliar treatments with the studied preparations as an element of technology for improving the yield and quality of grafted grapevine planting material under conditions of industrial nursery production.
