Abstract
<jats:p>Одной из проблем, связанных с ухудшением свойств и плодородия земель из-за воздействия природных или антропогенных факторов, является их деградация. В работе проводится анализ правового института охраны земель, направленного на сохранение земли как важнейшего компонента окружающей среды и природного ресурса. Рассмотрено содержание основных видов землеохранных мероприятий — мелиорации, рекультивации и консервации земель. Уделено внимание вопросам ответственности за невыполнение требований по охране земель.</jats:p> <jats:p>One of the problems associated with the deterioration of the properties and fertility of lands due to the effects of natural or anthropogenic factors is their degradation. The paper analyzes the legal institution of land protection, aimed at preserving land as an essential component of the environment and a natural resource. The content of the main types of land conservation measures – land reclamation, reclamation and conservation – is considered. Attention is paid to the issues of responsibility for non-compliance with land protection requirements.</jats:p>
