Abstract
<jats:p>Within the masters thesis 'EARTHQUAKE RISK ASSESSMENT OF THE BUSINESS FACILITY "DUNAV CENTAR" IN ZRENJANIN' an earthquake risk assessment for the mentioned subject was presented. The assessment procedure and the content of the assessment are in accordance with the Instruction on the Methodalogy for Developing Risk Assessments and Pretection and Rescue Plans in Emergency Situations. In the research part of this paper, an insight into the types of buildings in Serbia and a description of the European Macroseismic Scale 1998 was given. As the conclusion some suggestions for improvement were given.</jats:p>
