Abstract
The article is a synthetic philosophical and legal study of the ontological foundations of legal awareness in modern Russia. Based on the phenomenology of E. Husserl, the fundamental ontology of M. Heidegger, the autopoetic theory of N. Luhmann, the sociology of P. Bourdieu’s practice, as well as on the Russian tradition represented by I.A. Ilyin and S.S. Alekseev, the author builds a multilevel concept of legal consciousness as an ontological structure of Russian legal consciousness. The article consistently reveals three interrelated problematic blocks: the ontology of law as a theoretical construct, the mechanisms of influence of patriotism on legal awareness, and the ontological causes of the crisis of legal trust. Based on the analysis, the concept of restoring genuine legal awareness is formulated, which involves cultivating the intrinsic value of law, strengthening the operational autonomy of the legal system and forming the habitus of modern legal subjectivity.
