Abstract
The article conducts a philosophical and cultural analysis of the spiritual content of the front song of the period of the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) and the Special Military Operation (2022 - to the present) as two cultural and world-historical phenomena. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the specific features of the frontline song as a unique phenomenon of Russian culture, to determine its role in the formation of military personnel’s and civilian population’s moral and psychological stability and to trace the evolution of themes and artistic means of expression. The scientific novelty of the presented study lies in a complex analysis of the evolution of songwriting in the context of the two most tragic and existentially significant periods in the history of Russia. The authors emphasize that the problem of philosophical and cultural interpretation of the song genre remains insufficiently covered in modern Russian scientific literature. The study seeks to fill this gap and offer new perspectives to study the song heritage as a reflection of collective consciousness and sacred quest for the nation at turning points in history. As a result of the study, the authors proves that the front-line song has become not just a background or an attribute of wartime, but a key mechanism for expressing and forming the popular spirit of Russian civilization in its Soviet and post-Soviet historical forms. An analysis of the genesis, poetics, musical features and worldview moments of songwriting reveals its role in the spiritual consolidation of society, the broadcast of basic civilizational values and the existential overcoming of the war crisis. In their research, the authors apply an interdisciplinary approach, synthesizing methods from musicology, cultural studies, philosophy and history.
