Abstract
<jats:p>Microfluidics, commonly referred to as "lab-on-a-chip" technology, enables crucial manipulation of fluids at the micro level of scale, allowing high-throughput biological and chemical analyses. This chapter elaborates the application of microfuidic techniques in estimation of bioanalytics like nucleic acid (DNA/RNA) analysis, protein assays, and point-of-care diagnostics. Integrating microfluidics into drug delivery systems has paved the path for advanced treatments, including target specific delivery of drugs and gene therapy. Additionally, organ-on-a-chip models offer enhanced methods for analyte testing and tissue-engineering. Although fabrication complexity poses challenges, trends like artificial intelligence and nanotechnology offer promising advancements. Microfluidics continues to drive bioanalysis and therapeutic innovation, advancing personalized and regenerative medicine.</jats:p>
