Abstract

The article discusses the legal regulation of the organization and functioning of bodies designed to resolve economic disputes in Tajikistan, a republic formed after 1917, initially as an autonomous republic within the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic and later as a union republic. As the young republic’s industry and economy developed, there was a growing need for such a body and for improving its effectiveness. Initially, it was the Arbitration Commission under the Revolutionary Committee of the Tajik Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, and later it became the State Arbitration Commission under the Council of People’s Commissars of the Tajik Soviet Socialist Republic. The further development of the State Arbitration Court in Tajikistan was carried out in accordance with the all-Union legal regulation.
