Abstract

<jats:p>The article examines issues related to the analysis of the current state of small business and the growth of organizations forming in this sector. A forecast has been made based on analytical data regarding the development prospects of small business in the territory of the Russian Federation. According to the conducted analysis, a positive forecast has been formed for an increase in the number of organizations engaged in small business in the Russian Federation. The necessity of increased attention from both the state and entrepreneurs to organizations leaving the market has been justified. The study shows that retaining entrepreneurs in this sector will contribute to an increase in the share of small business in the GDP of the Russian Federation, which has been growing annually over the past ten years. The prospects for the growth of small towns have been considered. Statistical data indicating the growth of small towns in the Russian Federation and, consequently, an increase in physical demand for various services, particularly in the field of education, services, etc., have been presented. This confirms the possibility of scaling business using an adapted business model that takes into account regional characteristics. A model for the formation of a multifunctional project in the form of a startup has been developed, and prospects for its implementation in a small town have been identified. A consumer analysis has been conducted through a questionnaire survey in one small town, confirming the presence of demand for integrated services provided by a single organization.</jats:p>
