Abstract
<jats:p>The monograph examines the methodological and practical foundations of the formation and implementation of innovations in financial institutions, primarily in credit institutions. The tasks and tools of innovation are revealed, including the features and implementation of digital assets and digital currencies, the use of multilateral digital platforms and ecosystems, and the assessment of the effects of innovation in the financial sector and related fields, including through mergers and acquisitions, taking into account the risks of innovative development in financial markets. The principles of innovation management using modern digital technologies, such as the use of big data and artificial intelligence, are described. It is intended to create a theoretical basis for understanding and analyzing the innovations of financial institutions in the era of the digital economy. It addresses the issues of digital and ESG transformations in global financial markets related to increased competition between financial institutions, banks and quasi-banking financial companies. Special attention is paid to the tasks of digital support of innovations, including using controlling technologies. Examples of the introduction and use of innovations in commercial banks are presented. It can be used in newly introduced educational standards of higher education, as well as for training specialists in new generation programs and within the framework of the professional development system. It is intended for graduate students, researchers and practitioners dealing with the problems of introducing innovations within the framework of digital transformation in financial institutions and manufacturing companies for businessmen seeking to build effective management systems based on modern methods.</jats:p>
