Abstract

<jats:p>The paper highlights current issues of evidence and decision-making in adversarial criminal proceedings in Russia. The article examines the public-legal nature of criminal proceedings, criminal law and criminal procedure disputes and procedures for their consideration, the theoretical foundations of decision-making in criminal proceedings and current issues of evidence in adversarial criminal proceedings. The methodological basis of this work consists of the basic principles of the theory of decision-making in criminal proceedings, developed by Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation P. A. Lupinskaya. The third edition of the monograph is due to changes in criminal procedure legislation, the emergence of new judicial practice, and the development of scientific discussions, including a scientific discussion on the digitalization of criminal proceedings. For practicing lawyers, teachers, graduate students and undergraduates of law schools.</jats:p>
