Abstract
The monograph examines the theoretical, legal and law enforcement aspects of the re-socialization of convicts who are being released or released from correctional institutions, especially in the context of their parole, the replacement of the unserved part of the sentence with a more lenient one and release from serving the sentence due to illness. The main attention is paid to the problems of criminal, penal enforcement, criminal procedure and other legislation governing the decision-making on early release of convicts, as well as post-penitentiary care and control over their behavior. It is intended for researchers, teachers, employees of institutions and bodies of the penal correction system and other government agencies, employees of commercial and public organizations, adjuncts, graduate students, cadets and students of educational, including departmental, institutions.
