Abstract

<jats:p>Based on the generalization of current trends in the development of the concept of food security, the monograph presents the features of the agro-food systems of the North American Arctic territories: Alaska (USA), Nunavut, the Northwest Territories and Yukon (Canada), Greenland (Denmark). The data on the level of food security of the population of these territories are summarized. Separate mechanisms and tools for the implementation of state policy to provide food to the population of the North American Arctic territories are considered. The analysis of the place and role of food security in the Arctic strategies of the USA, Canada, Denmark and Greenland is carried out. It is intended for researchers, managers and specialists in the global agricultural economy, teachers, graduate students and students of higher educational institutions. It can serve as a basis for further research on the food security of the Arctic population.</jats:p>
