Abstract
<jats:p>The monograph is devoted to the historical and psychological study of the process of formation, development and improvement of technologies of information and psychological impact. The field of research includes a huge time period in the history of information and psychological warfare, covering more than 2.5 thousand years, as well as a vast geographical area including Europe, Asia, Africa, and America. The article analyzes the technologies of information and psychological impact in their development from innate forms that ensure human survival in an unfavorable social environment to the most modern complex ones, including elements of artificial intelligence, information and psychological technologies that combine propaganda and demonstrative actions, offline and online forms, hybrid schemes that integrate information and psychological impact with various forms. offenses and crimes. The historical and informational perspective will allow for a better understanding of the mechanisms and effects of modern practice of information and psychological actions. It is aimed at scientists, faculty and practitioners in the field of information and psychological warfare of law enforcement agencies.</jats:p>
