Abstract
<jats:p>The monograph is a continuation of the monograph "Towards a new paradigm of the World Economy", which substantiates the need to revise the initial basic principles of neoclassical theory due to their inconsistency with various processes and phenomena of the modern economy. The proposed paper discusses the essence and meaning of the basic concepts of the new paradigm of economic theory, in which the human personality occupies a central place, with its abilities and opportunities to generate new ideas and create new products that qualitatively change the familiar nature of the market economy. There is a tendency to intensify intellectual and creative human activity, which qualitatively changes the nature and mechanism of functioning of the world economy and leads to the need to form a new paradigm for the development of humanitarian economic activity.
