Abstract

<jats:p>It systematically outlines the fundamentals of the economics of designing high-tech products in the context of cognitive digital technologies. Interdisciplinary approaches to the training of engineers are considered, combining design and engineering with economic analysis and management practices. The textbook sections cover the analysis of promising cognitive digital technologies, market analysis and pricing, marketing, innovation and production management, enterprise architecture, big data analysis methods, project and product management. Models of integration of competencies of engineers, designers and economists for the development of competitive products and the development of new markets are presented.
